The draft goals, strategies, and actions result from a robust community engagement started in summer 2020, including feedback heard from virtual meetings in all eight wards in January and February 2021 and the nearly 3,000 responses to our Ready2Play Citywide Survey.
The four draft goals, which frame the Ready2Play Master Plan, are:
A unified and equitable park system.
Inclusive, resilient, sustainable design.
Responsive, diverse programming; and
Transparent, efficient, engaged operations.
Within these four goals, the draft includes 13 strategies and 85 specific actions to operationalize the plan.
We are now seeking input on these draft products to ensure we are on the right path as we begin finalizing these goals, strategies, and actions.
